This weekend we took part in our first trade show to introduce Little Knittle to press and buyers. Dot to Dot launched 7 seasons ago and rapidly established itself as the best UK show for design led, independent childrenswear. It’s a smaller, more intimate show than some, but that means you really get the chance to talk to people properly about your brand and you can guarantee to be showing alongside some of the most interesting and innovative names in childrenswear. There were so many fantastic brands exhibiting, here are three of my favourites:

Monty and Co make traditional workwear for kids that is authentic, functional and designed for everyday childhood. All made in Britain. 

Apolina Kids won the best new brand award with their bohemian folk range of beautifully embroidered tunics and dresses. 

New Kid’s Denim brand Otti Studio showed a stunning collection of simple denim pieces – I wanted all of it! 

It was incredibly exciting to be able to introduce Little Knittle to buyers and press face to face after so many months spent on development and sampling. They could feel for themselves how incredibly soft the wool is and see all the little details we’ve built into the designs. We’ve confirmed a couple of stockists already and have made some great contacts so all in all it was a great way to pop our trade show cherry. Thanks for having us Dot to Dot!
